The Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Furgal was detained on the morning of July 9, employees of the Investigative Committee and the FSB (at night of Moscow time). He is suspected of organizing murders. We tell you that this is known.

According to the investigation, Sergey Furgal organized a number of attempts on entrepreneurs in the Khabarovsk Territory and the Amur Region in 2004 and 2005. SK said that an investigation of a multi -episode criminal case against an organized criminal group is being conducted. TASS sources in law enforcement agencies reported that we are talking about the murder of entrepreneurs Evgeny Zori in 2004 and Oleg Bulatov in 2005 and the attempt to kill an entrepreneur from the Amur Territory Alexander Smolsky.

SK said that four active participants in the organized crime group were previously detained and arrested, they were charged with the role of the role in crimes. TASS sources in law enforcement agencies called their names: the former deputy of the Khabarovsk Regional Duma, director of Dalpromsnab and former business partner Sergey Furgal Nikolai Mitryukov, the airport inspectioner in Yuzhno-Kurilsk Marat Kadyrov, the general director of Alteza LLC Andrei Paley. Their four in November was arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow. A criminal case against the van was opened according to their testimony.

The van is checked for involvement in other particularly serious crimes committed in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories and in the Amur Region. He was brought to Moscow, where he will be charged. The governor is a member of the LDPR party, but they are not going to exclude it yet .

The governor of the Khabarovsk Territory is actively supported by residents of the region: they publish messages on social networks under the hashtag #Yamyshefurgal, and the petition in his support for 11 hours Moscow time has already collected more than 23 thousand signatures. Local media write that on July 11 an unauthorized rally is planned in the center of Khabarovsk.

The van is supported, among other things, for the fact that at the post of the governor he introduced a new procedure for calculating the surcharges for pensions of former officials and deputies. Thanks to the innovation, in 2020, the regional budget will save 9 million rubles.

Sergei Furgal has been engaged in entrepreneurship in the Khabarovsk Territory since 1999. In the zero, he headed the company "Alkuma", which was engaged in the trade in timber, and "Myth-Khabarovsk"-the collection of scrap of ferrous metals. In 2006, he headed the Far Eastern branch of the state examination of projects of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Since 2005, he has been a deputy at the regional and federal levels from the LDPR. For the first time he ran for the post of governor of the Khabarovsk Territory in 2013, but then he lost to Vyacheslav Shport with a rupture of 19.14%.

In 2018, Furgal was ahead of the current governor, candidate from United Russia of Shport by 0.2% of the vote. However, since none of the candidates gained the required number of votes (50%), a second round was held, based on the results of which Furgal won: 69.57%of voters voted for him, 27.97%voted.
