Opposition politicians and activists again have searches. This time the reason is called the first "Yukos case"

With a search, they came to the municipal deputy Julia Galyamina, the coordinators of Open Russia Tatyana Usmanova and Olga Gorelik, to the chief editor of the MBH Media Sergey Prostakov and the editorial office of the MBH Media. Near the Open Russia office building, the executive director of the organization Andrei Pivovarov and the coordinator of Open Russia Maria Kuznetsova were detained. Then they were brought to the organization’s office, where the search also began.

In Tomsk, a search was held by the coordinator of the “Human Rights Cards” by Alexei Pryanishnikov. The security forces seized electronic equipment, including laptops and mobile phones.

Some of those who came to Thursday morning are sure that the searches are held on the eve of the opposition of the rally on July 15. It is organized by representatives of the campaign “No!”, Opposing amendments to the Constitution. On the eve of the organizers of the campaign "No!" A response came from the Moscow City Hall and the Government of St. Petersburg-rallies were denied.

“My son called me at six in the morning, we were in the country with my husband,” says Julia Galyamin “New”. -He said that some people with a search came and now break the door [apartment] if he does not open. My son had to open. I called, say: "Let go of my son, I will come."

Lawyer Mikhail Biryukov was at the apartment of Yulia Galyamina already at 6.30, but the security forces refused to open the door to him and searched only in the presence of his son Galyamina. The lawyer was able to go inside after four hours - at 10.45, when the search ended. At the same time, Galyamina’s call to the apartment even came to the police outfit, but, as Biryukov said, “only they opened the door, muttered that the Investigative Committee was conducting investigative actions and slammed the door.”

The ambulance team, which Galyamin called for her son (he has asthma), also refused to let in.

According to Biryukov, the decision by Galyamina was issued on July 8 by the judge of the Basmanny Court of Moscow Natalia Dudar. Last fall, she was remembered by the extension of the arrests of the defendants in the “Moscow case”. And since 2003, the Dudar was one of the judges who “led” the case of Yukos: including, she sent under the arrest the head of GML Plato Lebedev, authorized searches in the company's offices, subsequently extended the maintenance of the fatal lawyer Yukos Vasily Aleksanyan.

“They are looking for documents and evidence that Julia participated in the assignment and use of funds stolen during the privatization of the Apatit plant, with the participation of Mikhail Borisovich Khodorkovsky,” says Biryukov, “[seek evidence of that] that all her activities are allegedly funded from cash stolen in 2003.

Galyamina herself believes that the search is associated with the action on July 15 and the entire activity of the campaign “No!”. The deputy, along with the lawyer, went to the Investigative Committee for interrogation as a witness in the Yukos case.

The press secretary of Open Russia, Konstantin Fomin, told the “new” that the searches of the members of the organization began at about the same time-about six in the morning. According to Fomin, the reason for the searches "in the Yukos case" is a "formal occasion":

- Moreover, in the case of Galyamina, it generally sounds absurd, because it has nothing to do with Open Russia.

And the only thing that somehow unites the “open Russia” and Galyamin is participation in the campaign “No!”. Because the “Yukos case” is 2003, and the campaign “No!” - This is a rally announced on July 15.

By two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, it became known that open Russia also began a search. The chairman of the organization Anastasia Burakova told Novaya, that, according to her information, in the office, for an unknown reason, from nine o’clock in the evening of the previous day, the video surveillance camera did not work, which the office employees have never noticed from the moment they rent this premises. At the same time, from the early morning of July 9, according to Burakova, employees of the E -E Center were on duty at the Open Russia building:

-We are afraid that while the cameras were turned off, [to the office] could throw something.

We have suspicions that they will find something that was not there, because there were never such situations with a disconnection of [cameras].

According to Burakova, those people who were searched for the Yukos case today are in no way connected with this matter - some employees of the organization in 2003 were “at a very young age”: “Yukos’s case” is a trump card that can always be pulled out of the sleeve when they want to stop or frighten activists. ”
