In St. Petersburg, near the Kazan Cathedral, police detained pickets in support of Delivery Club couriers protesting against non-payment of wages. This was reported to OVD-Info by one of the detainees, editor of the Altleft.org portal Alla Voiskaya, as well as public defender Vladimir Vasilenko.

In addition to Voiskaya, the police also detained Sergei Diment, Anton Cherepov, Altleft.org editor Ivan Markov, Evgeniy Balanov, and Ekaterina Samokhaeva. They are all in one paddy wagon. Two more detainees - and. Where they are is currently unknown.

Fingerprinting is required if a person is suspected of committing a crime or if the court has placed him under administrative arrest.

Another circumstance when fingerprinting is mandatory is for those who have committed an administrative offense, if it is impossible to establish their identity.

None of these conditions are suitable for the detention of Voiskaya and Samokhaeva.
