Sakhalin: Head of the EMERCOM detachment will judge bribery

On Sakhalin, the head of the search and rescue detachment of the Ministry of Emergencies will appear before the court. Valentina Zhelonkina the prosecutor's office considers guilty of receiving bribes. The indictment in his case was transferred to court.

The regional prosecutor’s office specified that Zhelonkin received a bribe from a local entrepreneur in the amount of 300 thousand rubles, after which he ordered to send departmental equipment to work for a commercial organization. The Sakhalin rescuers, subordinates to Zhelonkin, worked for the entrepreneur. For part -time jobs, they paid their boss. In total, he received 200 thousand rubles from subordinates.

• The accusation of Zhelonkin was charged in July 2019. The accusations were also charged with his subordinates, five employees of the search and rescue detachment, investigators consider to be guilty of giving bribes.
• In June 2019, in Krasnoyarsk, Lieutenant Colonel of the Ministry of Emergencies Vladimir Asanov received a deadline for a bribe of 5 million rubles from the entrepreneur.
