“Our priority is the concern for the safety of visitors and museum employees. All excursions are held strictly in compliance with the social distance. The intervals between groups are 30 minutes at a permanent exposure and 60 minutes at exhibitions. Special routes of excursions have been developed so that the flows of visitors do not intersect, ”the press service explained.
It is also reported that all guides are provided with mandatory personal protective equipment; guests are provided with radiographic headphones with disposable headphones.
Excursions are held at the exhibitions “Russian Tale. From Vasnetsov so far ”and“ Nonsense. 1968-1985 ". In addition, among the excursions offered to visitors to the GTG, “the first journey through the Tretyakov Gallery”, “Old Russian art”, “masterpieces of Russian painting of the XVIII-XIX centuries” and “The art of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries”.

The Tretyakov Gallery closed for visitors on March 18 due to the threat of the spread of the Coronavirus Covid-19 .
In early June, the Moscow authorities allowed from June 16 to resume work to museums and exhibition halls, and the General Director of the GTG Zelfir Tregulova spoke about the measures to ensure sanitary security, which will be introduced in the museum after its opening.
GTG opened after quarantine on July 3 by the exhibition “Generation XXI. The gift of Vladimir Smirnov and Konstantin Sorokin ”, she takes place in the new Tretyakov Gallery on the Crimean Val.
