The number of dead Siberians with coronavirus exceeded 900

More than 57 thousand Siberians fell ill with coronavirus. The number of victims approaches 1 thousand.

The total number of sick in the regions of Siberia reached 57093, follows from the data of regional and federal operational headquarters.

According to official figures, 19 patients died per day. In addition, the Department of Health of the Tomsk Region said that 50 more patients with Covid-19, but from other diseases, died in hospitals. Thus, from the beginning of the pandemic in the regions of Siberia, according to Taiga.info, at least 921 patients have died.

Almost 720 thousand cases of infection are recorded in Russia. 11205 people died, about 497 thousand were recovered. The country was released in the second or third place in the world in the number of sick, but the mortality officially declared by the authorities is much lower than in other states with a similar number of sick people. Now Russia is in fourth place.

At the same time, the Rosstat data for May indicate that the mortality from the Covid-19 can be doubled (and this is excluding patients with coronavirus who died from other diseases).

Against this background, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to remove the federal regime of “non-working days” from May 12, transferring all the restrictions on the level of the regions, and also announced on June 24 the parade in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Putin also appointed “all -Russian voting” on a change in the Constitution on July 1, which will now allow him to run for president until 2036. The authorities of the Siberian regions began to weaken the introduced restrictions, despite the growth of the spread of the epidemic.

In the world, according to the latest data , the number of cases exceeded 12.4 million, more than 560 thousand people died. The epidemic affected 188 countries and territories. At first, the main number of the dead accounted for China (4.6 thousand people), but in this indicator the PRC has already been overtaken by other countries. The United States leads (134 thousand). A significant number of deaths were also recorded in Brazil (70.3 thousand), Italy (34.9 thousand), Spain (28.4 thousand), France (30 thousand), Great Britain (44.7 thousand), Belgium (9.7 thousand), Mexico (34.1 thousand), India (22.1 thousand), Germany (9 thousand), Peru (11.5 thousand) and Iran (12.4 thousand). More than 6.56 million people have recovered all over the world.
