The editor-in-chief of Tsargrad was fined under an article about fakes

The justice of the peace of court district No. 369 of the Tverskoy district of Moscow fined the editor-in-chief of Tsargrad Daria Tokareva under an article on the dissemination of knowingly false information (part 9 of article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The relevant resolutions were discovered by MBKh Media.

Tokareva was fined 120 thousand rubles. The text of the decisions refers to two publications on the Tsargrad website: dated March 25 and 26, 2020. According to the court, they contained "knowingly false information about the coronavirus infection."

During the court hearings, representatives of Tsargrad demanded that the administrative case be terminated, since the publications, due to which the proceedings began, had already been deleted from the site.
