The United States leads in the number of cases - 3.3 million infected, 135 thousand people died, 1 million people recovered. In second place is Brazil, where last week President Jair Bolsonaro, who was perhaps the most famous Covid dissident in the world, was diagnosed with coronavirus. In total, there are 1.9 million cases in the country, 72 thousand people have died, and 1.3 million have been cured. India is in third place: 878.2 thousand cases, 23 thousand deaths, 553 thousand recovered.
Russia is in fourth place in the world, with 733,699 cases of coronavirus detected in 85 regions. Over the entire period, 11,439 deaths were recorded, 504,021 people recovered. About 6.5 thousand new cases are recorded per day.
Most of the cases were in Moscow - 230 thousand people, 4,168 Muscovites died, 165 thousand people recovered. The Moscow region is in second place: 60.7 thousand cases, 1009 deaths, 41.3 thousand people recovered. St. Petersburg took third place among all regions of Russia: 27.9 thousand infected, 1,626 died, 21.4 thousand people recovered.
Among the municipalities of the Moscow region, Podolsk leads in the number of cases - 3,770 cases, followed by Krasnogorsk (2,985) and Korolev (2,781). In Zhukovsky, 907 people fell ill, in Ramenskoye – 1,480, in Lyubertsy – 2,040.
