In Russia, 6,248 new cases of infection with coronavirus confirmed per day

Over the past day, 6,248 new cases of coronavirus infection in 83 regions have been confirmed in Russia, the operational headquarters reports . The total number of identified cases of infection in the country reached 739 947.

175 lethal cases were recorded per day. Over the entire period, 11,614 people died from Koronavirus.

The most new cases in Moscow are 613, in St. Petersburg-281, Khanty-Mansiysk AO-268, the Sverdlovsk region-245, the Altai Territory-238.

Over the past day, 8,804 people were discharged, the total number of recovered patients increased to 512,825.

The Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of an unknown virus on December 31. The virus was discovered in Jun-a large shopping and industrial center with a population of more than 11 million people. The causative agent of the disease is coronavirus 2019-ncov. On March 11, the World Health Organization called the current situation with Coronavirus Pandemia.
