In the Tyumen Perinatal Center, doctors were not tested on the Covid-19, the local Rospotrebnadzor said that they supposedly do not relate to the priority group. This was reported to the MBH Media by the chairman of the "Alliance of Doctors" Anastasia Vasilieva.
According to her, the Office of the Rospotrebnadzor in the Tyumen region in response to a request from the "Alliance of Doctors" stated that it is advisable to conduct a laboratory examination based on the priorities of risk groups, "which include people who arrived from abroad and have symptoms of coronavirus, persons older than 65 years with Covid-19 symptoms and organized groups of children suspicion of massive disease with coronavirus symptoms. “Medical workers of the Perinatal Center, in accordance with this list, are not at risk,” the department said.
The local department of Rospotrebnadzor added that it could not conduct an administrative investigation in connection with the complaint, as this would violate the “requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation”.
According to Vasilyeva, the obligation to test doctors on Koronavirus is regulated by the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of Russia Anna Popova and temporary methodological recommendations. According to this resolution, medical workers with the risk of infection should be tested at workplaces once a week, and when symptoms appear, immediately.
“This is a completely absurd answer. Of course, we will appeal this answer to higher authorities, ”Vasilieva commented on the statement of the Tyumen Rospotrebnadzor. She considered that the heads of the department do not know the order of their own leader, and also attach methodological recommendations that are approved by the chief sanitary doctor and not for medical organizations as an explanation.
According to Vasilyeva, doctors say that they are not tested for coronavirus, sprinkle evidence of this in the form of audio recordings and correspondence, but “the check comes and says that everything is fine,” she added.
On July 14, in the country, according to official statistics, the total number of identified cases of infection with coronavirus reached 739,947.
