
The Lublin District Court for the second time extended until August 17 the arrest of the defendants of the “New Greatness” case Ruslan Kostylenkov, Dmitry Poletaev, Peter Karamzin and Vyacheslav Kryukov, as well as house arrest Anna Pavlikova, Maria Dubovik and Maxim Roshchin. This was reported by the correspondent of "MBH Media".
The lawyers of the defendants said that their client should not extend the preventive measures, asked to soften them. According to lawyers, among the arguments the prosecutors only the severity of the crime committed by the defendants.
Dubovik said that during the arrest she had a lot of vision, and the help of a doctor needs - it reaches the retina. “We have been obeying for more than a year, and every time I have come to the courts. Each time I come here on my own, the FSIN trusts me. I am everywhere myself and everywhere alone. The FSIN did not record any offenses. I follow all the rules. There were never any complaints. I am a student of a veterinary institute, and I want to continue my studies, ”said Dubovik.
Earlier, the Moscow City Court canceled the decision to extend the arrest in connection with procedural violations and returned it back to the Lublin court.
At the meeting, it turned out that Koronavirus was discovered by the state prosecutor in the “New Greatness” case of Rustam Ivanov. “The epidemic did not bypass anyone, and our prosecutor first of all,” said Judge Alexander Maslov. Ivanova at the meeting was replaced by another prosecutor
The meeting should also take place in the debate of the parties. The prosecutor must request time for the defendants.
The defendants in the case of "New Greatness" are accused of creating an extremist community. According to the lawyers, the FSB officer, who consisted in the “New Great” under the pseudonym Ruslan D., according to the testimony of some participants, was given the testimony of the defendants, it was he who proposed converting the opposition chat into a political movement, which allowed them to make a criminal case. A video with incitement from the witness was also published.
Two defendants in the case, who had made a deal with the investigation, have already been convicted. This is Pavel Rebrovsky, who was sentenced to 2.5 years in the colony, and Rustam Rustamov, who received a year and a half of imprisonment conditionally. After the sentence, Rebrovsky abandoned his testimony, the court canceled his sentence, his case was sent for a new consideration. Another accused - Sergey Gavrilov - left for Ukraine during the consideration of the case, he was put on the wanted list.
