SK conducted 110 searches from the followers of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Voronezh region

In the Voronezh region, the security forces conducted 110 searches in two criminal cases on the participation of the recognized extremist in Russia of the Jehovah's Witnesses (part 1 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code), according to the website of the regional department of the UK.

According to the investigation, from June 2018 to February 2020, the suspects organized a religious movement called Central, Voronezh. They held worship, preached and attracted new supporters.

The followers of Jehovah's Witnesses claim that about 60 families of believers reported searches, at least ten people have not yet been in touch. In the near future, six suspects, including 47-year-old Sergey Baev, 30-year-old Alexander Bokov, 44-year-old Yuri Galka, 56-year-old Valery Gursky, 41-year-old Vitaliy Neurush and 24-year-old Stepan Pankratov, will adapt a preventive measure.

Some of the detainees have already been sent to the investigative insulator in the village of Nizhnedevitsk, as there are no places in the city.
