The Prime Minister of Belarus announced the opening of the border with Russia

Russia told Belarus that it was ready to resume transport links between the countries in the coming days. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko after a meeting with the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin.

• Russia announced the closure of border crossings at all external land borders, including the border with Belarus, at the end of March. In early April, trains and planes stopped running between Minsk and Moscow.
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova said on July 10 that Russia is preparing to resume international flights from July 15. Foreigners will again be allowed into the Russian Federation, while they will not be required to undergo a 14-day quarantine - it will be enough to show a certificate of a negative test for coronavirus.
