The Investigative Committee claims that the involvement of Mikhail Abyzov and the accomplices in the legalization of funds received as a result of the commission of the crime, as well as to commercial bribery, have been established. SK called the accomplices of Abyzov: these are the former top managers of the Siberian Energy Company JSC (SIBEKO) Ruslan Vlasov, Yana Balan and Oksana Rozhenkova, as well as the director of Ru-Com LLC Oleg Serebrennikov.

The UK claims that in 2014 Abyzov and his accomplices stole the funds of Sibeko and RES company for a total of 4 billion rubles. They brought the stolen funds from Russia and placed in banks of Cyprus. According to the investigation, Abyzov also converted the stolen funds into dollars "to give a legitimate appearance to their possession."

The security forces say that "the fact of a commercial bribery is established." In 2017, Mikhail Abyzov actually owned a control package of Sibeko shares, which were issued for offshore controlled by him. Officially, Abyzov hid this, which violated anti -corruption legislation. When Abyzov wished to sell his stake, the SK claims, he transferred 78 million rubles through other participants in the criminal group former top managers of Sibeko Ruslan Vlasov, Yana Balan and Oksana Rozhenkova. Those for this money allegedly secretly transferred significant information to the potential buyer about the activities of SIBECO, including a financial nature.
