Hundreds of Minsk residents lined up at the Central Election Commission - they are filing complaints about the refusal to register opposition candidates

After the Central Election Commission of Belarus refused to register Viktor Babariko and Valery Tsepkalo in the presidential elections, a line of those wishing to file a complaint against this decision lined up at the CEC. According to TUT.BY , several hundred people are standing in line. At least one person was detained by the police.

Viktar Babaryka's headquarters has already stated that it "will take all actions to appeal the decision and ensure fair elections."

On the eve of mass protests in Minsk and other cities, police detained more than 200 people. A criminal case has been initiated.
