A support group for the defendants in the New Greatness case announced a rally near the FSB building in Moscow, it will take place in the form of a picket queue.

On July 14, the prosecution requested the defendants in the New Greatness case up to 7.5 years in prison. They were considered the organizers of an extremist community.

“The deadlines requested by the prosecutor are not just excessive, but unfair and disgusting. The case is completely fabricated, and its defendants not only should not receive a sentence, but should not have been prosecuted at all. They are innocent, and we demand a full acquittal,” write the organizers of the action, which is scheduled for 18:00 on July 16.

Among the initiators of the picket line are the Civil Society movement, the Libertarian Party of Russia, the Moscow branch of Yabloko, the Association of Independent Deputies, Postcard, and the Mothers Against Political Repressions organization.
