Several girls who entered the city clinic hospital No. 67 named after L. A. Vorokhobov told “such matters” about the violation of patients in the psychosomatic department for women. Patients reported physical violence by medical personnel and insults from doctors. The stories of the interlocutors of the editorial office, they were forced to wash the floors and care for the lying, as well as stole their things.

"I agreed against my will"

“Somehow a lot of things fell on me-and I forgot to drink pills that had to be accepted during the day. I knew that the therapy should not be missed, and I decided to drink everything due to the day before bedtime. This, of course, is stupid, but we all sometimes make nonsense, ”says Vera.

After the girl once accepted the daily rate of medicine, she felt unwell. Frightened, Vera called an ambulance, she washed her stomach. She wanted to stay at home, but the doctors began to insist on hospitalization - health workers called a psychiatrist who said that the girl had to be taken. Doctors regarded the actions of faith as an attempt to suicide. According to Vera, she categorically refused, explained that she had no such intentions.

“The fact that I did not plan to commit suicide was repeatedly confirmed by my husband, plus I had recipes for medicines for bar. And I drank only seven tablets. They don’t drink so much for an overdose. But the psychiatrist on the phone told the doctors: “Do you understand that either you will dance to her tune, or is she under yours?” As a result, they began to blackmail me that if I did not go to a regular hospital now, then a psychiatric service will come in an hour. I felt scared, the threats worked, and I agreed against my will, ”said Vera.

"You can arrange you as incompetent"

On the evening of June 7, Vera was brought to the city clinic hospital No. 67 named after L. A. The girl noted that during all this time she did not sign any documents on the consent to hospitalization and everyone who entered the ward asked the administration to refuse treatment. After some time, the doctor came and apologized for the fact that the registration procedure was delayed. Vera replied that she did not need treatment. According to her, the doctor said to this: “You know, you can also arrange you as a legally incompetent. I’ll just call a psychiatrist now, he will examine you and decide that you are not able to control your decisions. And the signature will be set for you. So I call the brigade? "

Vera said that then she asked to give her a lawyer to call, but she was refused, referring to the fact that the phones in intensive care are strictly prohibited. “So for the second time I was blackmailed and threatened to sign permission to do anything with me. In response, the good doctor generously allowed me to write to the ship, having removed the catheter, after which I finally could turn into a sheet lying under me, ”the girl said.

The neighbors of Vera in the ward in the intensive care unit were a woman who screamed loudly every five seconds, and the man is delirious. According to Belyaeva, he spoke without a break, took off his diaper, pulled out a catheter and threw everything to the floor. Vera said that a little later a person was brought to the ward on the verge of death.

“The next day, they approached him and covered his face with a sheet, after which he lay in the ward for another three to four hours. But I think I was next to the corpse much longer: who knows when he died, ”Belyaeva said.

Vera hoped that she would be discharged at nine in the morning. All this time they did not give her things - she spent 16 hours naked on a bed, it was impossible to walk. But they did not write out the girl, according to Vera, she was again naked on a wheelchair and took her in this form to another floor of the hospital.

“I was met by a nurse with a pink nightie in her hands and said:“ Quickly, B ** d, put on a nightie! ” I tried to be indignant, said that I needed my clothes. Suddenly, the orderly whispered to me in my ear: “Do you know that you are in the PSO [psychosomatic department]? Do you know what it is? Crachis. So they don’t boule up, otherwise they will tie it up.” I was lured with blackmail and deceit to the same “psychiatric hospital”, whose fear was forced to go to the hospital, ”the girl said.

Vera notes that she got into the psychosomatic department for women, but there she did not receive therapy. In the four days that she spent there, she was only given one pill once. The injections made “at will”, the girl asked about it with tears for the last two days, because she was afraid of the deterioration of her mental disorder without treatment.

“If a person with a bar in such a place begins with depression, it is impossible to be sad and crying here: the sanctions will be tough. The first thing I realized: not to get out of here. All capable patients are preoccupied only with how to return to the will. This is the only topic of conversations, they tried to find at least some pattern: “they are released after the tests”, “We need to lie for four days”, “We must not swear with the staff”. This does not work, there are no patterns. One completely healthy and quiet girl was kept for two and a half weeks, because the doctor ordered to take the most calm so that she would take care of people with disabilities, ”said Vera.

“The nurses do nothing, they only yell, swear obscenities and everything is prohibited. The department smells so much in urine that the skin begins to itch. I spent 10 days there, and only once I was able to go to the shower. To do this, I washed the floors with pneumonia in the entire department. In the same way, it was possible to wash the floors behind the cigarette, ”the girl said.

Lisa noted that they were constantly threatened by being tied to the bed. They also tied those who tried to free other patients.

According to her, one girl for 15 thousand rubles was transferred to the male PSO-department of the same hospital. She said that there were orderlies with the opposite attitude to the patients: they watered the lying from the tube, allowed to go out into the street.

Vera Kasporyants, who was there simultaneously with Belyaeva, speaks of numerous violations of patients in the psychosomatic department for women. The girl called the assault the “norm” for the orderlies, which, according to her, could push and begin to kick patients.

Patient rights are not violated

“Such cases” sent a request to the Moscow Department of Health with a request to comment on the complaints of girls against the department employees. The department replied that there were no violations in the provision of medical care in the institution, and the medical staff works in strict accordance with the Law of the Russian Federation “On Psychiatric Assistance and Guarantees of the Rights of Citizens in its Provision”.
