
The Ministry of Development of the Far East and the Arctic has prepared a bill that allows Russian citizens to receive a piece of land in the Russian Arctic for free. On the "polar hectare" you can build a house and create a personal economy. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the bill, the land can be obtained in the Murmansk region, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as in 23 municipal regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Arkhangelsk region, Komi and Karelia. Most of the proposed territory is located in the permafrost zone. The land is issued for use for five years, then it will need to be issued to property or long -term rent.
