Patients with coronavirus in Central Asia are forced to save already on the streets. Position of the authorities: We will show true mortality, but let's without negativity

On Friday, July 17, at the same time, two republics of Central Asia - Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan - stated that they are switching to a new classification of coronavirus infection in their citizens. If earlier, community-acquired pneumonia, which struck both states, was considered separately, now, at the insistence of WHO, the authorities of both countries will add it to the statistics on Covid-19. The renewal of numbers immediately led to a sharp increase in the incidence of incidence - but now Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, it seems, are ready to evaluate the scale of the problem. And these scales are catastrophic.

The first to unite statistics was Kyrgyzstan. The daily growth of the sick immediately increased from 521 people on the day of July 15 to 1768 people on the day of July 16. The number of cases in one day almost doubled - up to 23783 people. In general, this was expected, but the scale of how used to be mistaken (if mistaken) of the country's authorities with statistics are still poorly conscious. The number of dead instantly grew seven times - up to 785 people (83 deaths per day).

For five millionth Kyrgyzstan, such data are an emergency of a national scale. But the country's authorities are in no hurry to introduce it (limited only to quarantine), since in this case it would be logical to translate the situation in the country under the control of doctors and scientists, and there would be a need to pay compensation to people and business.

This Kyrgyz authorities cannot afford this, it is busy with the struggle with the dissatisfied. In the country there are battles around the bill on "fakes", similar to the Russian analogue. Power structures block the Change.org website, which posts a petition for the impeachment of President Naronbai Jeenbekov, and his administration urgently reboots the video with Jeenbekov’s appeal to YouTube, because there were a huge number of diesels. Where are they to people when commentators on the Internet are attacking!

Meanwhile, in the country, people die from pneumonia and coronavirus literally among doctors in their arms.

“Mediazone Central Asia” has collected a video from social networks on which people make artificial respiration in the trunk of a car because hospitals are not accepted by patients. Some people have to pump out right on the street.

In neighboring Kazakhstan, atypical pneumonia, which the local Ministry of Health refused to recognize a part of the coronavirus infection for a very long time, will now also be included in the combined statistics of Covid-19. However, unlike Kyrgyzstan, in Kazakhstan, the reduced figures will be presented only on August 1. The Minister of Health Alexei Tsoi explained this at a joint briefing of the department and the regional representative of the WHO that it is necessary to compare all the bases of patients.

The Minister of Health still voiced some of the numbers in pneumonia, albeit with a large number of reservations. In total, from the beginning of the year, this is not only coronavirus, but in general all possible inflammations of the lungs - more than 234 thousand people fell ill. Compared to last year - growth is three times. “For the first half of the year, the level of mortality from pneumonia remained at the level of the same period last year, but with a tendency to growth in late June. Almost all deaths for this period are cases of registration of incidence that came before the period before the introduction of quarantine, ”the minister said. The previous level of mortality is 3327 people who have died of pneumonia, starting in January. True, journalists immediately considered that 1555 of them had died over the past two weeks. If you combine them with 464 people officially dead from coronavirus, it turns out that until today all the numbers have been underestimated almost four times.

The fact that statistics can no longer be hidden, even President Kasim-Zhomart Tokaev understood: he wrote on Twitter that he set the task to deal with statistics to the government.

It is curious that a couple of days ago the official authorities in every possible way refuted the connection between pneumonia and coronavirus, despite the shouts of the Chinese authorities, the statements of Russian doctors and cautious remarks of WHOs. Moreover, all the instructions that the situation in the republic with medicines is very difficult, and hospitals barely cope with the influx of patients, the deputy akim of Almaty Saparbeck Tuyakbaev, for example, said that all this is not true, and those who say otherwise are simply “hip”. In turn, the Ministry of Health said that in the domestic media need to reduce the number of negative publications about Covid-19 to an indicator of 10% of the total number of materials.

While the department proposed this, the country entered the top 30 world leaders in incidence (this is with the old statistics). The double bitter irony is that the first president Nursultan Nazarbayev set the task of entering the TOP-30 developed countries; A few years ago, during financial crises, he stated that "everything would be fine in 2020."

The "especially" coronavirus in Kazakhstan is also in a large number of status of its victims. Over the past two weeks, several large luminaries of medicine have died from coronavirus in its different forms (51 physicians have officially died officially), several deputy akims (governors), two deputy defense minister (current and former), four boxing coaches, two famous pilots, the head of the Ust-Kamenogorsk police-and many others. In some cases, the causes of the death of famous people are unknown to the end, and indeed: official authorities write every death to the “coronavirus” reluctantly. To restore justice in relation to some victims of coronavirus, journalists of seven Kazakhstani editions created the Umytpa.kz website (translated from Kazakh - “Do not forget”). This is a collective martirologist to all dead from Covid-19 in the country: people send reporters to reporters about the death of their family and friends, and the authors of the site, verifying these data, make up a large list of dead with the names and details of death. So far, it contains 260 confirmed deaths - but the site is updated daily. The end of the project is unknown.
