Three headquarters united against Lukashenko

Alternative candidates in the Belarusian elections - both registered and unregistered - continue to perform unexpected actions, ahead of it at least one step. Because the actions of the authorities are predictable that the manuals would have long been time to change.

On July 14, Viktor Babariko and Valery Temkkkalo were not registered as presidential candidates. This was predictable: they preferred to prevent strong candidates. Exactly the same predictable was the registration of Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, who from the very beginning explained that she had no political goals - she just replaced her arrested husband, a popular blogger. And on July 16, the headquarters of Babarico, Tskkkalo and Tikhanovskaya unexpectedly announced the association. They go to the elections together, united around the only registered alternative candidate.

On July 17, the three headquarters held a joint press conference. It turned out picturesquely: women came from all three headquarters - Svetlana Tikhanovskaya herself, representative of the headquarters of Babariko Maria Kolesnikova and wife Valery Tsepkalo Veronika. At the press conference, the plan was announced: the remaining before the elections for three weeks to campaign Belarusians to come to the polling stations and vote in order to achieve the electoral majority. “The main enemy of our victory is not a regime, it is unbelief that we can do something. We have three weeks in order to come to the polls and say that we do not agree. We will be very proud in that, despite the dictatorial regime, we were able to unite, ”said Maria Kolesnikova, representative of the headquarters of Viktor Babariko, at a press conference.

True, it is the turnout that is now needed. On the other hand, before the elections there are three more weeks, and there is time to break the game of power. No one expected the associations from the headquarters, so alternative candidates remains the space for maneuver.

He suggested changing the Constitution so that only those who served in the army could participate in the presidential election.

Perhaps this is the only thing that Svetlana Tikhanovskaya cannot boast compared to him.

By the way, Lukashenko suggested sending women who claim to participate in the presidential election to the very Vitebsk brigade so that they could "distinguish an armored personnel carrier from the tank."
