Novosibirsk businessman Oleg Yarovoy was sent to a pre-trial detention center. He is suspected under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud on an especially large scale), a source close to law enforcement agencies told Taiga.info.
According to the interlocutor of the editorial office, the application was submitted by the former general director of the Vinap plant, Yuri Veryasov. The FSB opened a case on the fact of embezzlement, later a suspect was identified. The press service of the Central District Court, which usually considers the special services' petitions for the arrest of suspects, did not answer calls from Taiga.info.
Oleg Yarovoy was the chairman of the board of directors of Vinap OJSC, which produced alcoholic beverages. In 2011, he headed the board of directors of the Ekran plant, which is part of Eduard Taran's RATM-Holding.
According to Kontur.Fokus, now Yarovoy, together with the owner of the Novosibirsk management companies and the Eco-Line garbage carrier Alexander Kharlanov, owns several management companies that service housing and communal services in Omsk. Previously, they were controlled by NPO Mostovik . Yarovaya also owns Krasny Prospekt LLC and Siberian Spaces - the latter company belongs to him together with Eduard Taran and Investsibir LLC, the founders of which are Igor Silnyagin and the Cypriot offshore.
