Participant of the action “Change the government, not the Constitution!” sentenced to 15 days of arrest

The Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg found civil activist Marina Ken guilty under the article on repeated violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Ken herself reported this to OVD-Info.

A participant in protests against amendments to the Constitution was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest. in the same court . Earlier, the second participant of the action, Yevgeny Musin, was sentenced to 20 days

The decision of the Kuibyshev court was left unchanged, and the complaint of the defense was not satisfied.

• Banner with the inscription "Change the government, not the Constitution!" appeared for a few minutes on Nevsky Prospekt on 16 July. The banner on Nevsky Prospekt was unfurled as soon as the green light for pedestrians came on. At the red signal of the traffic light of the pedestrian crossing, while the banner was being rolled up, the activists lifted the banner so that cars could pass under it. Activists Yevgeny Musin and Marina Ken made no secret of their involvement in the action. The next day, in the morning, began to watch law enforcement officers near their houses, and at night the activists decided to go to the police station in the presence of defenders, where they were detained and left in the police station for the night. At both, protocols were drawn up under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
