Protesters who were going to “feed the pigeons” were detained in Perm

In Perm, at least two people were detained near the city administration who were planning to “feed the pigeons,” that is, to come out in support of protesters in the Khabarovsk Territory. The detainees themselves reported this to OVD-Info.

Among them are Kirill Filimonov and Danila Vasiliev, a defendant in the case of a mannequin with Putin’s face.

The detainees are taken in separate cars to the police station in the Leninsky district.

The police told Filimonov that they had detained him “on the basis of an orientation,” and Vasiliev was charged with violating the self-isolation regime.

19:20 Filimonov told OVD-Info that a total of 9 people were detained near the Perm administration due to an action of solidarity with the Khabarovsk Territory.

19:34 A protocol is being drawn up against Filimonov for violating the self-isolation regime (Article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code). The security forces also “found out some data” on one of the detainees on social networks.

21:51 Filimonov was released from the department. According to him, two more detainees remained in the police custody.

On July 21, Kirill Filimonov told OVD-Info that the exact number of detainees was unknown. They were probably all released from the police department.

• Since July 11, residents of the Khabarovsk Territory have been holding actions in support of Furgal. The procession on July 11 through the streets of Khabarovsk to the building of the regional government, according to various estimates, gathered from 5 to 35 thousand people. The police did not interfere with the protesters, and there were no arrests. Promotions are also taking place in other cities.

According to the prosecution, the official organized the murders and attempted murders of entrepreneurs in 2004–2005, when he himself was engaged in business. The Moscow City Court rejected an appeal against Furgal's arrest.
