Angara region: A maniac police officer admitted in two more murders

Angarsk maniac, former policeman Mikhail Popkov is transferred to the Irkutsk region. He admitted in two more murders in Angarsk in the 90s, the regional department of the Investigative Committee reports .

• In April, the Supreme Court of Russia refused to satisfy Popkov’s appeal to return him the title of junior police lieutenant, which gave him the right to receive a pension of 24 thousand rubles. Popkov’s lawyer also said that the client did not admit the guilt in the first murders due to the expired limitation period.
