The court fined four more detainees after the verdict was announced in the Network case in St. Petersburg

The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg imposed fines on Anna Loiko and Elena Murganova, who were detained after the verdict was announced in the Network case. “Apology of Protest” writes about this with reference to lawyer Alexander Peredruk.

The activists were found guilty under the article on violating the self-isolation regime (Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Administrative Code). Loiko was fined ten thousand rubles, Murganova - eight thousand.

“Apology of Protest” notes that recently the courts have reclassified the cases of those detained on June 22 from the article on violation of the rules of participation in the action (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) to the article of violation of the self-isolation regime (Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) .

Earlier, the same Oktyabrsky court issued three decisions on fines for detained activists, and the Smolninsky court returned several cases to the police.

15:55 On July 21, the Oktyabrsky District Court also imposed fines on Yana Teplitskaya and Denis Getman, who were detained on June 22 after the verdict in the Network case. This was reported by the press service of the city courts.

Teplitskaya and Getman also had their charges reclassified from Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences, part 1 of Art. 20.6.1 Code of Administrative Offences. The court imposed a fine of seven thousand on Teplitskaya, and ten thousand on Hetman.

Heading changed after information about new fines appeared

• In St. Petersburg on June 22, the Second Western District Military Court announced the verdict of the defendants in the “Network” case, Filinkov and Boyarshinov. After the trial, security forces began to detain people who came to support the accused. A total of 30 people were detained.
• A criminal case against the “terrorist community “Network” was opened in October 2017. According to the FSB, 11 young people in Penza and St. Petersburg organized the terrorist community “Network” and were planning to overthrow the government.
• On February 10, 2020, a court in Penza announced the verdict of seven defendants in the Network case. The young people received sentences ranging from 6 to 18 years in a strict and general regime colony.
