The day before, the supporters of the Karelian Memorial staged a prayer service in his support “in the non -Christian atmosphere”, and the police staged a real special operation to deliver Dmitriev to the court. People came later - most of them arrived by train from Moscow almost at the end of the announcement. At this time, in the backyard of the court, the journalists wanted to rent at least a frame with Dmitriev, who was supposed to be brought from a pre -trial detention center to 14:00. For Dmitriev’s delivery to the court, police staged a real special operation. The first carrier arrived at the backyard of the building: after several pirouettes, he parked at the end to the wall. The next auto -zak stopped parallel to the fence where the journalists stood. It was impossible to shoot in such conditions - some of the journalists even failed into a hole that separated the windows of the basement from the ground.

By the beginning of the meeting, about a hundred people were already at the court building. Among them are the deputy of the Karelia Legislative Assembly from En Yaboko Emilia Slabunova and the first daughter of Dmitrieva, Catherine. Slabunova said that due to a severe prosecution, people associated with the case were objects of provocations-so, before the meeting itself they asked her whether the photos were judged by Dmitrieva. 10 minutes after the alleged beginning of the meeting at the door of the court, the lawyer Anufriev appeared. He said that by the “preliminary decision”, Dmitriev received 3.5 years in a colony - with an excuse for illegal turnover of weapons, depraved actions and production of pornography, but established by the fault of violent actions in relation to the adopted daughter - the man supposedly touched the daughter for the crotch to make sure that she did not have an enuresis. Nevertheless, the verdict has not yet been confirmed, and the lawyer said that everything would be known within half an hour.

After the “preliminary sentence ”, the atmosphere at the court building began to heated. Some calculated when Dmitriev should be released - not on September 12, not in November. Others tried to understand which articles in the verdict were left and which they removed. No one has become more understandable.

At 15:30, Anufriev came out for the second time - and this appearance was accompanied by a toll. The lawyer went to a “safe distance” and said that the “preliminary sentence” was confirmed - judge Alexander Merkov left everything as expected. Dmitriev will wait for the exit in the pre -trial detention center - probably after a conversation with the historian, the defense will file an appeal.
