
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree on the resignation of the head of the Department of Education of the capital Isaac Kalina. The document is published on the city hall.
The decree states that Kalina quit at his own request in connection with the transition to another job.
In the place of Kalina, Sobyanin was appointed his deputy Alexander Molotkov.
Kalina headed the Department of Education since 2010. Before that, he was the deputy Minister of Education and Science of Russia for three years.
