The investigation wants to deprive Two lawyers for the sake of guilty

The Investigative Committee of Russia began the withdrawal of lawyers of the arrested former governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergey Furgal. Decisions were prepared in relation to two out of four lawyers, Kommersant said . The defense believes that the purpose of the investigation is to neutralize the entire lawyer corps of the politician, which prevents the TFR from agreeing with the accused about recognition.

The reason for the withdrawal of lawyers Marina Gorbacheva and Maximuilov was a conflict of the interests of two accused in the criminal case - Furgal and his former business partner Nikolai Mistryukov. Mistryukov was arrested in November 2019. He was accused of two custom -made murders and one assassination attempt, which later charged Furgal.

Mistryukov did not find guilty at first. His wife Natalya addressed the lawyers, who said that the investigation exerts pressure on her spouse, demanding the guilt. Later, Mistryukov pleaded guilty and testified to the alleged accomplices, including Furgal.

Furgal suggested the possibility of a defense of defense and ordered lawyers to urgently call psychiatric assistance if he suddenly admits the crimes, the publication said.
