In Bashkiria, in the second week of July, a six -fold increase in the incidence of "community -acquired pneumonia" was noted. This was announced by the head of the regional Rospotrebnadzor Evgeny Stepanov.
According to him, in a week from July 6 to 12, the diagnosis was confirmed by 1685 people, more than 80% of the sick - people over 50 years old. In this regard, Rospotrebnadzor plan to start vaccination against pneumococcal infection.
Over the past day, almost six thousand new cases of infection with coronavirus infection have been identified in Russia. According to official figures, the daily number of cases is steadily reduced. However, many experts subject this assessment of doubt. They believe that the authorities underestimate statistics and do not make the sick as a real diagnosis, replacing it, in particular, with a diagnosis of “community -acquired pneumonia”. The authorities deny this.
