The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who on the eve personally participated in negotiations with a bus with hostages in Lutsk, Maxim Krivosh, spoke about the details of the conversation and why he decided to fulfill one of the requirements of Krivosh.

According to Zelensky , a bus storm was developed, however, fearing that people could die with him, the president decided to personally talk with the hostage captured.

The conversation, according to the president, lasted 7-10 minutes. In his course, an agreement was reached that after the release of three hostages, Zelensky would fulfill one of the requirements of Krivosh - it will post a video on the network with an appeal to watch the film "Earthlings". This 2005 documentary raises the topic of exploitation of animals by humans.

Krivosh promised Zelensky after the publication of the video to release all the hostages. So it happened. Zelensky after that deleted the video about "earthlings".

“If we can do something without a storm, if we can not risk the life of at least one person ... I live with such principles, lived and live. Therefore, we have a result. The result is alive,” Zelensky said.

Earlier it was reported that the person who captured the hostages was detained as a result of the assault. However, the video from the scene confirms Zelensky’s words that he released the hostages voluntarily. The video shows that Krivosh got out of the bus and waited for him to be detained. It is reported that Krivosh is placed in jail, he was charged with terrorism, hostage capture and illegal storage of weapons.
