The CEC published the same polls on its official pages on social networks "VKontakte" and Facebook. And there the number of voters against it turned out to be significantly higher than those who approved a multi -day vote.

On the eve of the State Duma adopted amendments to the electoral legislation, which allow you to hold elections of any level within three days. A similar practice was tested during the vote on amendments to the Russian Constitution. Representatives of the opposition noted that this created opportunities for unprecedented falsifications.

In the CEC, the decision to conduct a vote in several days was explained by the intention of breeding streams of voters due to the threat of coronavirus spread.

Later, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova, at a working meeting with Vladimir Putin, said that the possibility of multi -day voting in all future elections was being discussed. According to Pamfilova, hundred -caps showed that citizens liked this procedure.
