The Ukrainian studio GSC Game World introduced the first trailer for the Stalker 2 game. In the video demonstrated during the online presentation of the Xbox Games Showcase, they showed several locations from the game, as well as anomalies and NPCs sitting around the fire (just like in the first Stalker).

Stalker 2 will be released on the new Xbox Series X and PC and will be immediately available for free Xbox Game Pass to the Subscribers. The game will become a temporary exclusive Microsoft, DTF notes - this means that the game will appear later on the PlayStation 5 than on the Xbox Series X (it will not work on the consoles of the current generation at all).

Earlier it was reported that the new Stalker will be released in 2021. The information published on the game website after the trailer exit, it is said that the developers "are not yet ready to disclose the release date."

The trailer shown at the presentation of the Xbox is created on the game engine and reflects the “level of graphics and atmosphere”, which the developers intend to achieve. Stalker 2 will be a game with the open world, and the player’s actions will have “global consequences”.
