Russia resumes international flights from August 1. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this; the official’s speech was broadcast by Rossiya 24.

Later, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova clarified that flights were resuming with three countries: Great Britain, Turkey and Tanzania.

Flights will depart from Moscow, Moscow region, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.

Since March 27, the Russian government has banned international flights due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus. The exception was flights that transport Russians stuck abroad.

In April, Aeroflot airline stopped selling tickets on its website for international flights departing before August 1.
