An arrested participant in a protest against amendments to the Constitution was detained at the exit from a special detention center

In Moscow, at the exit from the special detention center, Alexander Dmitriev was detained, who had previously been arrested for 10 days in connection with an action against amendments to the Constitution. This was reported to OVD-Info by civil activist Milya Kashapova.

“We came to meet Alexander. There was a car nearby and two young people near it, who, ten minutes before the release, drove as close to the entrance as possible. We decided that something was wrong, and also approached as close as possible, armed with a video camera. As soon as Sasha appeared, two people came out, introduced themselves as criminal investigation officers and said that Sasha needed to go with them, ”Kashapova told OVD-Info.

Two men in civilian clothes, one of whom introduced himself as Aleksey Morev, stated that Dmitriev was suspected of fraud committed by a group of persons by prior agreement (Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code). After that, the activist was taken away in an unknown direction, he does not get in touch. Presumably, he could have been taken to the Krasnoselsky police department.
