The editor-in-chief of a Dagestan publication dedicated to women's rights received death threats

Journalist and editor-in-chief of the Daptar portal Svetlana Anokhina received death threats. This is reported by Kavkaz.Realii according to Anokhina herself.

According to the journalist, on July 22 she was contacted by a man who introduced himself as Dalgat Umakhanov, who stated that he had “instructions to deal with all feminists.” Anokhina invited him to meet, after which he threatened to kill her.

Anokhina turned to law enforcement agencies and handed over a recording of a telephone conversation with a man to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan. The ministry said it was investigating.
