The temporarily acting governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev, who for a long time refused to communicate with the protesters against his appointment, went to the rally participants in the center of Khabarovsk.

This happened late in the evening of Sunday, when there are not many people left on Lenin Square. Degtyarev’s meeting was broadcast on the live air of his Instagram. Streams were also carried out by local bloggers.

The acting answered citizens' questions for about half an hour. Among other things, he proposed creating a national council for joint discussion and solving the problems of the region. Degtyarev also promised to continue communicating with citizens and even invite Sergei Shnurov to the edge of the Leningrad leader. At the end of the meeting, the audience applauded him.

After a meeting on the porch of the administration, a fight took place between one of the protesters named Valentin Kvashnikov and the man whom he called the provocateur. According to Kvashnikov, the provocateur allegedly threatened his children because he wanted to ask Degtyarev a question. Kvashnikova was detained by the police. Later he was released .

Local residents believe that at the meeting of Degtyarev there were many dummy persons - the FSB officers, the FSO or the EE center, who asked the governor instead of journalists and citizens.
