A picket participant and a signature collector for the “No” campaign were detained in Nizhny Novgorod

In Nizhny Novgorod, on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street, the police detained Maksim Alibayev, a participant in a solitary picket. Oleg Rodin, chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of Yabloko, announced this to OVD-Info.

Alibaev picketed against the inadmissibility of the Yabloko candidate Aleksey Sadomovsky in the elections to the city duma. The police approached him and demanded to show his passport. He refused to comply with their demand, considering it illegal.

The detainee was taken to police station No. 5.

Lebedev collected signatures declaring the amendments to the Constitution illegal. The activist was taken to Police Department No. 5.

The previously released Maxim Alibaev returned there as a sign of solidarity. As a result, the police wanted to leave him for the night before the trial according to the protocol drawn up against him. Lebedev himself is going to be left in the department until the arrival of an employee of the Center "E".
