The court again fined the director of the FBK Ivan Zhdanov for 100 thousand rubles under the article on violation of the law on foreign agents

The Simonovsky court of Moscow for the second time fined the director of the Corruption Fund (FBK) Ivan Zhdanov for 100 thousand rubles under an article on violation of the law on foreign agents (part 2 19.34 of the Administrative Code). This was reported by the correspondent of "MBH Media".

The protocol on Zhdanov was drawn up due to the lack of marking the “Foreign Agent” on the YouTube channel “Navalny Live”. The director of the FBK stated at the meeting that he did not agree with the protocol.

“I am held accountable for non -replacement of information about a foreign agent on the Navalny Live channel, it has no legal attitude to the corruption fund. The overwhelming number of channel employees is not related to the fund. It is absurd to hold me liable for the Navalny Live channel, ”Zhdanov said.

He added that the FBK is illegally not excluded from the register of foreign agents.

In early July, the court fined Zhdanov for 100 thousand rubles Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the lack of marking "Foreign Agent" on the Instagram of the FBK.

In the fall of 2019, the Ministry of Justice introduced the FBK to the register of foreign agents for donations to the fund sent from the territories of Spain and the USA. Navalny tried to appeal the inclusion in the register in court, but the Moscow City Court upheld the decision in force. After that, several administrative protocols on violation of the law on foreign agents were drawn up to the FBK and its director Ivan Zhdanov.

“Two materials on Zhdanov and two on the FBK for not indicating that this organization is a foreign agent. Two more protocols, one on the FBK and the other on Zhdanov, they were drawn up when the lag happened - because the Spaniard transferred the money to the account, and we did not notice, ”said the FBK lawyer Alexander Pomazuev.

The FBK was included in the register on October 9 due to "attempts to influence state authorities", as well as foreign financing. The fund allegedly transferred 140 thousand rubles to two sponsor from the USA and Spain.

The Spanish sponsor Roberto Fabio Monda Cardenas could not explain why he decided to transfer the money of the FBK. Monda could not even pronounce the name of the organization to which he transferred the money. The American sponsor of the FBK was a Russian citizen Yuri Maslikhov - he lives in Florida and owns a doors production business.
