According to the publication, in July 2019, the family of Olga and Vladimir Semenov seized three adopted children - a boy and two girls. The reason was the initiative of his son, who stated that his father insults him and beats, like his sisters. The girls refused to leave the family, saying that the older brother stipulated his parents.

The father of the children appealed to law enforcement agencies with a request to check how the children in the Kondopogov Center "Nadezhda" are contained, where his daughters were sent. According to a man, in the center no one controls children who allow themselves to drink alcohol, smoke and walk at night. The director of Hope Olga Klevina told the publication that the center "has problematic children" and did not have enough qualified personnel, but denied that the described by Semenov is massive.
