YouTube on the night of July 28 blocked without the possibility of restoring the Tsargrad television channel, the founder of which is the Orthodox Businessman Konstantin Malofeev. "Your Google account has been disabled and cannot be restored, as he violated export legislation," the notification says, the screenshot of which "Tsargrad" published on his page on VKontakte .
On the television channel, the blocking was called "absolute surprise", saying that the editors did not receive "any warnings, notifications and fees." The Google account and the YouTube channel of the Russian Historical Education Society "Two-headed Eagle", the chairman of which is Malofeev, is also blocked.
"Tsargrad" intends to sue. According to the editor -in -chief of the television channel Daria Tokareva, the YouTube administration has not yet explained the reasons for the blocking, the channel website said. "We simply do not get in touch with us, so we plan to resolve the conflict in court," Tokareva said.
The Google press service of Moscow reported that the Tsargrad YouTube Account was legally blocked. "Google complies with all applicable laws on sanctions and compliance with trading rules. If we find that the account violates these laws, we take relevant actions," the company explained.
The head of the Religious editorial office of Constantinople Mikhail Tyrenkov called the blocking of the accounts of the television channel "The Treaty of the Overseas Company", noting that this happened on the Epiphany Day, and also carried out parallels with the attack of Nazi Germany on the USSR. According to him, "on the same summer night 79 years ago, also without declaring the war, the West in the form of Nazi Germany attacked our country."
“And like our ancestors in 1941, we are absolutely convinced that our right business, the enemy will be defeated, the victory will be behind us,” Tyrenkov said. He added that the policy of the channel "has always been defending the truth, no matter how uncomfortable it may be for representatives of Western" elites "and other aggressive minorities imposing their will and vision of the world to a conservative believer."
On July 12, the justice of the Tver judge of the Tver district of Moscow fined Daria Tokarev for 120 thousand rubles for two fake news about the coronavirus on the Constantinople website (part 9 of Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The articles were published on March 25 and 26, and then deleted. The protocols to the court sent Roskomnadzor, who indicated that the messages contain obviously false socially significant information about the Covid-19, contrary to the official information of WHO, Rospotrebnadzor, the Communication Center of the Government of the Russian Federation and other official departments.
The court decision states that information from the articles of Constantinople created a threat to harm to the life and health of citizens, a threat of massive violation of public order and (or) public security. ” The court concluded that Tokareva allowed the publication of information about coronavirus, including the mechanisms of its distribution and vaccination.
Tokarev and her representative objected to administrative responsibility, saying that the expert’s position given in the publication is a direct speech and evaluative judgment and opinion.
“Since little was known about the new coronavirus infection, accordingly, it was not forbidden to express your assumptions. It was not possible to verify the reliability of the information received. When publishing an article, the goal was not pursued in any way to harm the current government,” RIA Novosti quotes the version of the defense. Nevertheless, the court appointed a fine of 60 thousand rubles for each of the two publications - this is the lower threshold provided for by the article on fakes for officials.
