“Unfortunately, nothing is normal for us. For probably three months no investigative actions have been carried out. For our part, we appeal against the inaction of the investigation, complain about the conditions of detention, but there is no news. Until August 8, we have a preventive measure. - Vadim Cheldiev is a COVID-dissident, baritone opera singer and supporter of the ideas of Citizens of the USSR, who accused the authorities of North Ossetia of lying in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
- In connection with calls to attend a people's gathering on April 20 in Vladikavkaz, Cheldiev is charged under four criminal articles: on the public dissemination of knowingly false information about circumstances that pose a threat to the life and safety of citizens (Article 207.1 of the Criminal Code), on the use of violence against a representative of authority ( h 1 article 318 of the Criminal Code ), on public calls to carry out extremist activities (Article 280 of the Criminal Code ) and on the organization of hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code with the application of Part 3 of Article 33 of the Criminal Code).
