The court returned the police reports due to the action with the banner “We are watching you”

The Vyborgsky District Court of St. Petersburg returned to the police the protocols drawn up in the wake of the action with the banner "We are watching you." Igor Skachko, a lawyer from OVD-Info, reports this.

Materials regarding Ekaterina Bushkova and Oleg Nesterkin under Articles 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules for participation in the action) and 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to comply with the demand of a policeman) were returned "to remove obstacles to consideration." The protocol under the article on illegal entry into a protected facility (Article 20.17), drawn up against Nesterkin, was transferred by the court according to jurisdiction.

• Bushkova, Nesterkin and Heinz were detained early in the morning on July 24. The police charged them with putting up a banner reading "Watching You". The next day, protocols were drawn up against the activists and released from the police department.
• The “Watching You” banner was hung in front of the HSE building in protest against the use of the Examus system in educational institutions, which uses proctoring technology during assessments to analyze the emotions and behavior of students.
• Ekaterina Bushkova was twice detained at single pickets in support of other detainees - on May 29 and June 1 . Reports were drawn up against the activist on violation of the “self-isolation regime” (Article 8.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of St. Petersburg). The court later terminated Bushkova's administrative cases.
• Oleg Nesterkin was also detained on May 29 and at a one-man picket in support of Civil Society activist Mila Zemtsova on July 19 . On July 18, in Moscow and St. Petersburg, participants in single-person pickets against the new family code bill, developed by Elena Mizulina and other senators, were detained. Mila Zemtsova was left at the police station overnight.
