The Presnensky District Court imposed fines on the participants of the rally in support of peaceful protesters, which took place on June 5 at Petrovka, 38, Vasily Kushnir, a lawyer from OVD-Info, reports.
The court found the former person involved in the "Moscow case" Valery Kostenok guilty under the article on repeated violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and imposed a fine of 200 thousand rubles.
Witness in the "Moscow case" Danny Kulinich, as well as Elena Filina, were found guilty under the article on violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and fined 20 thousand rubles.
- In relation to Valery Kostenok, the persecution within the framework of the “Moscow case” was stopped in September 2019. Prior to this, Kostenok was in a pre-trial detention center on charges under the article on mass riots (part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code).
- Today, in connection with the same action on June 5, the court fined Samarridin Radjabov, convicted in the "Moscow case" and civil activist Mikhail Alexandrov, 300,000 rubles each. Their interests were represented by a lawyer from OVD-Info Dmitry Zakhvatov.
