The Law on the "Nalimets" may not touch the bars in historical houses

In Sachs of St. Petersburg, the first meeting of the working group under the Law on Nasvaviki was held. Rostislav Serikov, assistant to the head of the working group Denis Cetroka, spoke about his results “Paper” .

The meeting was attended by deputies of ZakS, including the speaker of the parliament Vyacheslav Makarov, representatives of the relevant committees of Smolny, representatives of residents of Rubinstein Street. The bars market was, in particular, the co -owners of the “nursery”, I Believ Bar, Bakunin Group, “For Wine!” and "chambers No. 6". In total, more than 30 people were attended by the meeting.

According to Serikov, several proposals were put forward at the meeting. Firstly, to introduce special rules for the work of bars renting a premises in historical buildings-they may be provided with preferences, including the permissible meter of the premises. Secondly, to prohibit the organization at the same time in licenses for trading as a store and work in catering format. Thirdly, set the minimum price for the sale of alcohol in the catering. Fourth, to create a register of unscrupulous establishments, which have many complaints.

At the same time, at the meeting, they did not discuss in detail the document regulating the work of “copyright bars”, although this was originally stated as the main task of the working group. It was proposed to create a register of such bars, but the criteria for including institutions in this register has not yet been formulated.

The Rotonda telegram channel writes that the meeting also first voiced the approximate number of institutions that may suffer from the law. Smolny officials reported that these are approximately 12 % of bars and restaurants that have a license for alcohol. About 7 thousand people work there. Serikov explained that this is only an approximate assessment, since Smolny has no exact data.

On July 23, the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov signed a law prohibiting the sale of alcohol at catering points with a trading hall of less than 50 square meters if they are in residential buildings. The law will enter into force on January 1, 2021.

The Knight Frank consulting agency previously calculated that about 50 bars in the center of St. Petersburg could be closed due to the Law on Nastaviki.

Citizens and bars' owners protest against the law on the "nashers", since he jeopardizes high -quality copyright establishments. More than 28 thousand people signed a petition against the law. “Paper” said that Petersburg restaurateurs think about the law - the owners of I Believ Bar, Paloma Cantina, Wood Bar and others.
