On several panel houses in the village of Elizavetino, a pixel street art was placed in the Leningrad region with portraits of rock musicians -from Viktor Tsoi and Mikhail Gorshenev to Sid Vishes. Photos of buildings on Instagram were published by a Petersburger with the nickname Goodwin45.
As The Village found out , the author of the work is a man named Andrei, who was born in the village of Elizavetino, but now moved to St. Petersburg. He does not consider himself an artist and notes that he does not want glory. “Now everyone will recognize, and [portraits] will be painted like everywhere. I would not want to, ”the man says.
