The coordinator of Navalny's Krasnodar headquarters was fined 80 thousand rubles for a video about the amendments

The Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar fined the coordinator of the regional headquarters of Navalny Lev Gyammer for 80 thousand rubles under the article on disrespect for the authorities (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is reported by MBH Media.

The reason for the fine was a video about amendments to the Constitution. In it, Gammer stated “Putin is war”, “Putin is political prisoners and contract killings”, “Putin is endless lies and lies, theft and lawlessness.”

According to lawyer Mikhail Benyash, the video was not examined. However, the court considered that Gammer's words expressed "disrespect for the authorities."

• In March 2019, Vladimir Putin signed a law on disrespect for authority. For the first offense under this law, a fine of 30 to 100 thousand rubles is provided.
