In Khabarovsk, a court arrested two detainees for five days after a rally in support of Furgal

On August 1, the Central District Court of Khabarovsk ordered five days of arrest for those detained after the July 31 action against the persecution of Sergei Furgal. This was reported by the coordinator of legal assistance at OVD-Info, Alla Frolova.

The court found Dmitry Tymoshenko and Alexander Nuikin guilty of participating in an action that resulted in disruptions in the functioning of the infrastructure (Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).

The activists were detained in the center of Khabarovsk, pulled out of a taxi car. They were taken to the 4th police department. When asked about the reasons for the arrest, the police replied: “We’ll sort it out now.”
