From the office of the headquarters of the United Democrats in Kazan, a laptop was seized to which the printer was connected. This was announced by the MBH Media coordinator of the "United Democrats" Andrei Davydov.
According to Davydov, a “stationary laptop” was removed from the office, which was used only for the printer. “One laptop was taken purposefully,” he said. The coordinator added that on July 25, when the security forces came to the office as part of a “test for terrorism”, they spent several hours in the access zone to this laptop. “There was no one there [in the office] except them,” Davydov said.
The police came to the headquarters of the United Democrats for the third time in Kazan. This was announced by MBH Media Executive Director of Open Russia Andrei Pivovarov.
“OMON burst with echniks, everyone took phones from everyone, and supposedly carry out investigative actions. In parallel, our activist is going on, so all lawyers are now busy and we can’t even say what the investigative actions are connected with, ”Pivovarov explained.
On July 27, the security forces already came to the office with a search, and on July 25, riot police came to a lecture at the headquarters of the United Democrats and detained 17 people. They were interrogated as witnesses in the case under Article 207 of the Criminal Code (“knowingly false message about the act of terrorism”). Activist Irina Nikiforova reported “MBH Media” that the detainees were interrogated due to a false message about the mining of the building of the city of Kazan.
