At the same time, according to Kaygorodtsev, the numerous policemen who were present at the scene did not make any demands on the protesters, did not detain anyone, and “had no complaints at all.”
“I myself stood with a single picket, the police approached me, copied the data, listened to the explanation that this was a single picket and left,” Kaygorodtsev said.
However, as the picketer added, the police had no complaints against the activists only during the actions themselves, which attracted the attention of the Novosibirsk press and ordinary citizens, and in the following days, the participants in the actions began to be “pulled out one at a time” and summoned to police stations to draw up protocols. The policemen came to some of them themselves "they came early in the morning, at six o'clock and simply confronted them with the fact." As a result, protocols were drawn up for at least nine activists, including Andrei Kaygorodtsev, Yuri Sebeshev, Ekaterina Kokusheva, Pyotr Kokushev, Tatyana Pushkina and Maria Yampolskaya. Three of them have already scheduled hearings in the Central District Court of Novosibirsk in the coming days.
Yuriy Sebeshev was threatened with detention if he refused to sign the protocol. “They said, if I don’t sign, they will close it until they find out,” the activist of MBKh Media specified.
