"There was a stuntman at the wheel"

In Moscow, the trial of Mikhail Efremov began - the actor does not admit his guilt in an accident, as a result of which a person died. Report "Medusa"

On August 5, the Presnensky District Court began consideration on the merits of the case of Mikhail Efremov. The actor is accused of the fact that in early June he sat drunk and had an accident on a garden ring in Moscow, which died 57-year-old courier Sergei Zakharov. Efremov threatens from five to 12 years in prison. He himself claims that he does not remember the events of that evening and therefore does not admit guilt - although in a video message he stated shortly after the accident: "Yes, and how you get out when everyone saw everyone." A close person

On the morning of August 5, the Presnensky court resembles a set. At the entrance to the building and on the floor, where Judge Elena Abramova will consider the case of actor Mikhail Efremov, journalists with cameras are crowding. Efremov himself tries not to look in their direction and, without saying a word, enters the hall. He is accompanied by five bailiffs and police officer.

Following the actor, his defenders go there: Elman Pashayev and Elizabeth Sharmor. And the lawyers of the victims: Tatyana Golovkina, representing the interests of the eldest son of Sergei Zakharov, and Alexander Dobrovinsky, to whom three relatives of the deceased immediately turned for help. Their clients did not come to court.

To break through the crowd of journalists - there are about 50 on the floor - and the writer Dmitry Bykov is trying to get to the meeting (Efremov, along with Bykov, worked on the project “Citizen Poet”). "I am a relative, I am a relative!" - shouts Bykov, pushing people in front of him. In response to the indignation of the press, he changes the strategy. “I am a journalist, I am a journalist,” Bykov repeats loudly, shaking a press card in the air. But the bailiff closes the door. No more than 20 listeners managed to go to the hall, including Anastasia Efremov’s sister and his godfather, actor Vasily Mishchenko. The rest, including Bykov, go to the other floor, where the video broadcast of the meeting is enabled.

In the corridor, away from everyone, Irina Sterkhova remains. For the past 20 years, she has been in close relations with the dead Zakharov. About this at the beginning of the meeting, she and her lawyer Vadim Nikulin were told by Judge Elena Abramova. And they ask to recognize Sterkhov the fifth victim in the case.

All participants in the process - the lawyers of Efremov and the family of Zakharov, as well as the state prosecutors - are opposed. The main argument - Sorkhov and Zakharov were not married, which means that there is no legal basis for Irina’s recognition of the victim. “We could only clarify the fact of [joint] residence from Zakharov. Since Zakharova, the kingdom of heaven, is no longer, we cannot do it, ”summarizes the lawyer Elman Pashayev.

Vadim Nikulin insists on the opposite, repeating over and over again: “Irina Mikhailovna does not claim the title of a spouse or civil wife. She claims to be called a loved one. ” In evidence, he gives their joint photographs, checks for paying for Zakharov’s funeral and a characteristic from their neighbors. In it, they are described as an “exemplary family”: “They went to the daughter of Sterkhova to China, often went for mushrooms to the forest and treated them with their neighbors.”

Pashayev’s lawyer does not convince this. He believes that photographs can be fabricated, and a joint trip abroad does not mean anything: “You never know who a man is resting abroad.”

“There is no need to talk about me like that, Sergey would not allow me to talk about me like that,” Irina's voice was heard in response. She cries.

“For 23 years [joint life], if Irina says that they lived so happily that they prevented them from registering a marriage? - continues Pashaev. "Why didn't they do this?"

Sterkhova quietly agrees that it is difficult to prove anything when Sergey Zakharov himself cannot confirm her words. Judge Elena Abramova refuses to recognize her as a victim in the case and asks Irina to leave the hall.

"I remember because it is not to forget"

During the meeting, Mikhail Efremov gets up and makes a small speech. The actor says that on TV they say that he pleaded guilty. And he emphasizes that he did not admit the guilt in the criminal offense.

“I would like to draw the attention of the court to insinuations and insults against me Dobrovinsky,” Efremov continues. - At the last meeting, he stated that I am allegedly whining . I am a fan of Spartak, in general I am not offended. But I ask you to make a comment to the lawyer. I have three minor children, they are teased, they are offended. ”

Lawyers Pashayev and Dobrovinsky shout something to each other. But judge Abramov quickly calms them. And proceeds to the consideration of the circumstances of the case.

The court reminds: Efremov is accused of the fact that on the evening of June 8, 2020 he got drunk behind the wheel of his Jeep Grand Cherokee and drove into the oncoming lane on the garden ring. The car crashed into Lada, at the wheel of which there was a 57-year-old courier of the Vikrateska.ru online store Sergey Zakharov. Zakharov received many injuries (their transfer takes about two minutes) and died in the hospital the next morning.

- Do you understand the accusations? - the judge asks Efremov.

The actor answers in the affirmative.

- Do you admit guilt?

“How can I admit my guilt when I don’t remember anything?” - says Efremov.

His lawyer Pashayev agrees with the accused. According to him, there can be no question of recognition until Efremov recalls the circumstances of that evening. Maybe this will happen during the interrogation of witnesses, the lawyer suggests.

To clarify the circumstances of the incident in court, four traffic police officers who came to the scene of the accident are interrogated. Three of them say that to establish exactly who was driving Grand Cherokee, eyewitnesses helped them. At the same time, answering the questions of Pashayev’s lawyer, they explain that they did not ask the names of these people and did not check if they really saw an accident. At the same time, the traffic police Pavel Markiyanov and Alexei Zvelnikov do not doubt the words of eyewitnesses - Efremov himself set out the same version of events in the evening of the accident.

“I [Efremov] asked him, he said that he was driving. He said: “I rode and crashed,” says Zvelnikov. "[He] said:" What I did, oh fool, yes, I was to blame, I got very drunk. " He said this repeatedly. From 22:00 to four in the morning he repeated five times, ”Markiyanov confirms.

- Drunk everyone tells the truth or they say that it comes to mind? - Pashayev addresses the policeman.

“To remove the question,” the choir of the votes of the defenders of the family of Zakharov and the state prosecutors sounds.

Then Pashayev is interested in Markiyanov why he remembered all the circumstances of that evening and the time of departure to the scene of the accident, if this happens in his work almost every day. “I remember because it is not to forget it,” the traffic police officer answers briefly.

A month ago, the Federal Chamber of Lawyers of Russia reported that disciplinary affairs were initiated in relation to Dobrovinsky and Pashayev - and the chamber itself was concerned that lawyers are actively commenting on Efremov’s business, publicly disclosing information related to a lawyer secret, and “frankly use their involvement in a“ loud ”case for self -promotion.

However, most of the listeners' behavior of participants in the process is more likely to amuse the process than outrages. A group of women is actively discussing lawyers at the broadcast audience and the process itself. They are convinced that Efremov is innocent, he was framed. There are many versions of what happened.

And we are given some witnesses there, ”one of the women explains his faith in the innocence of the actor. - He [Efremov], in principle, could get into the car that was traveling in front of Zakharov’s car, but he makes a virtuoso turn and gets his left angle into the left edge of the corner of the car. According to the woman, among the supporting Efremov there was talk that there was a stuntman at the wheel of Grand Cherokee, and Zakharov’s car was actually driving on a cable - she was driving too bluntly, the woman explains. According to another version, someone shot at the wheel of the actor’s car, and therefore she drove into the oncoming lane.

“If the airbag explodes, it breaks her nose. I was in an accident. It causes burns. You will be in flour. And here [the video shows] Misha with glasses on his chest, and they are not even broken, ”another woman quotes new arguments of Efremov’s non -involvement to the accident.

The first agrees with her: “We understand that there were two people in the car. Two airbags worked. If the passenger had not been sitting, the second airbag would not work. I saw that she had blood spots on her. ”

The actor, the woman believes, did not have damage characteristic of such an accident. At the same time, traces of his neck are visible on his neck. “In a day, the media will tell us that this is from a suicide attempt. This is not a seat belt, because he would only damage one side, ”the fan of Efremov develops the version. She adds that she has already seen evidence of the actor’s innocence, which will be presented in court very soon. She is sure: the actor was driving a completely different car.

Women do not believe in the death of Sergei Zakharov. According to some versions, they explain, a completely different person died. Even the words of the state prosecutor at a meeting of Zakharov’s injuries caused laughter in women.

“We are doctors,” says one of them. - Therefore, we understand that there can be no such damage. This was a person to wind in the centrifuge, [so that he had such injuries]. This is ridiculous: he has [according to the accusation] five kidneys, three legs and fifteen ribs. ”

About three in the afternoon, the meeting resumes after an hour -long break. And the prosecution continues to represent the version of events that is very different from the one in which the Efremov support group believes.

“According to Efremov, passengers [in the car] were absent,” the state prosecutor reads. According to the results of a medical examination, the actor was very drunk. Cocaine and cannabinoids were also found in his blood. On the pillow of the jeep from the driver’s side, experts found sweat and epithelium of Efremov, one of the examinations said. In the car, traces of another person were found, but it is impossible to identify it. At the same time, it is approved in the conclusion of the car, the opening of airbags during the accident is in no way connected with the presence or absence of a passenger. So, to establish whether Efremov was one, thus, it is impossible, the state prosecutor summarizes.

The meeting is interrupted at this. Efremova, as in the morning, withdraw five bailiffs and police officer from the court. On the porch, several more bailiffs are lined up in the line to prevent reporters from approaching the actor too close. He quickly gets into the car and leaves - the court will continue the next morning.
